Long ago, there was a young man named Rupert who fell in love with a woman. He courted her for a while, never bothered by her pale and ice cold skin. It was only a few months before they were married and she turned him into what she was, a monster. The pair of vampires were forced out of their town and moved into the mountains where they had a run in with a group of slayers who proceeded to kill Rupert's wife after he attacked them. After his wife was killed Rupert disappeared and was hidden away from years before he reappeared and began attacking humans in his old village and turning them into vampires, even turning two slayers into vampires while he was there. It was ten years before he moved on and became hidden again, walking among people in another city in another country as one of them. He remarried several times but each time his wife was killed and finally the Archangel Celeste killed him, or at least she believed she did.

Archangel Celeste is now known as Archangel Elizabeth and she has moved here to keep a close eye over everything. It wasn't until recently she noticed that humans, demons, and slayers were showing up injured or dead. She fears for the worst, another Rupert but no one can ever give her a description. Now it seems there is to be a war between each species she watches over and Elizabeth may just be powerless to stop her world from breaking apart and sending the town into despair.
